David Haye gets his potential talked about by masters like Amir Khan.
The comments were made in context of Joshua, who is getting ready to take on Dominic Breazeale. Khan feels that Joshua, of 26 years of age, will be easily defeated by fighters like David Haye, but in two year’s time he would be ready to beat his more established opponents. There is talk that Joshua might collide with Haye who is a title holder in the WBA. Haye, being a more experienced opponent of 35 years of age, will certainly have a superior position in such a fight. It would definitely be a premature fight to arrange.
Haye holds a world title and is a dangerous player in the rings. Hence, he would definitely want to hold onto the world title and fight hard for the same. Joshua on the other hand, has come into the spotlight since the time he won gold in the super heavyweight category in 2012 in London. Khan states that it is important for young fighters to remember that boxing is the game that has gotten them so far and that is where they need to keep their focus.
David Haye, on the other hand, has been keeping his form. Recently he had a knockout match with Mark de Mori where he displayed his explosive fighting skills yet again. Of course, on a lighter note, both fighters have been seen attending events outside the professional ring. Joshua and David Haye were present at the BT Sport Industry Awards function that was held in London recently. Both are preparing for different upcoming fights. But they both took time out of their training schedules to attend this event. It is felt that both would be facing each other in the ring very soon in the upcoming year
